Touted as an online community where users can find a helping hand on projects—and contractors can make a profit soliciting their skills, Workify serves as an "odd job" network with customizable profiles. The client had the idea for the location-based platform but needed help making it a reality both visually and functionally. Here, contractors can list their skills and write up a description of themselves in a customizable profile and custom URL. So, when users come searching for a painter, for example, they can find someone that specializes in interior paint jobs and read reviews and star-ratings left by other users. We integrated a payment gateway as well so users can pay for commissioned work directly to the contrators.

WOOD CHICAGO

Developed a versatile logo mark and branding identity in line with the founders' sophisticated but tongue-in-check name. This branding was used on signage, in the windows, on menus, business cards, t-shirts and gift cards we designed as well. The website provided was made to represent the Wood brand with a sleek one-page responsive scroll design. The photo-heavy site features a carousel of images our photographer took of the cuisine. Paired with dark wood grain backgrounds, a vintage Chicago map pays homage to Woods' Windy City roots while menus of dinner, cocktail and brunch offerings update regularly. I equipped the Wood team with a WordPress CMS so they can update the menus while designing a menu template for consistency. www.woodchicago.com

A site and campaign to revamp their entire brand. The client wanted a site unlike any academic site out there not institutional or dull like their former site, but lively representing the school and students' enthusiasm. AGC: NET POSTIVE SITE

At the intersection of environmental sustainability, nutritional literacy and global engagement, AGC's goal is to enrich students in a holistic approach tied into their curriculum. In addition, AGC has a much larger plan to create a sustainable, net positive energy charter school that it's been trying to drum up support for. To gain supporters and donors for this, AGC needed captivating designs to explain a complex but replicable model institution. So far the net positive site’s design has received acclaim from One Page Love, a web design showcase site for one page scrolling designs, as well as design site, Design Hey who says: "Rad one page website … Great scrolling navigation, textured graphics and a stellar cause." What makes Bike and Park's site innovative as a resource is that it doesn't just highlight a center to park your bike, but acts as a community hub for a movement and an attitude.
